There was a random post on Substack I ran across discussing that the virilety of some elected leaders made them an excellent choice. That masculine men were needed to run the government. Later posts compared Trudeau and Trump, claiming Trumps manhood dominated Trudeau.

Your reference to Teddy Roosevelt was not lost on me. Truly powerful leaders usually do not flaunt it, they are quite reserved. When they talk, people listen, because it's only when needed.
